Sky @ Liberty GDT

                             Possible Starting Lineups

                     G - Vandersloot              G - Mitchell
                     G - Prince                       G - Pondexter
                     C - Fowles                      G - Vaughn
                     F - Riley                          F - Pierson
                     F - Cash                          F - Carson

The Sky comes off another miraculous win over Tulsa and shoot for their 5th straight win over an up and coming Liberty team that started slow but after knocking off a 1st place Fever team and then defeating Conference Champion Atlanta Dream, looks to win their 3rd straight.

This game features some thrilling match-ups with Sloot v Mitchell,  EP v Pondexter, Cash v Carson, and Fowles v Vaughn. The visiting Sky must focus on reducing turnovers against an opportunistic Liberty team. The Sky is averaging almost 22 TOs a game, while the Liberty averages only 15.

GO SKY!!!! Clap Thumbs%20Up Cool

I am all ready to log onto Live Access for this game. I am worried about this one, the Sky have to shoot well and keep the TOs down! Let's hope we see a solid performance across the board with all of the Sky players.

New York will not be easy. They have found their rhythm and are playing really well.

When asked how to contain Big Syl...the NY analyst basically admitted it's fruitless!!! LOL

The one player I'm looking for a big performance from is Petro...she needs to be on!!!

Great start!!! I like the energy and the focus on going inside!!!

Mitchell cannot handle Sloot and Sloot needs to be aggressive when she has Mitchell isolated.

Syl is in "Beast Mode!...Thumbs%20Up

Only 4 turnovers in the 1st quarter.  Big improvement!  This, to me, is a major key to this game.  If they can keep it to 15 or less, they should win easy.

WOW!!! Can't believe they allowed Mitchell to get away with that "up & down" travel...Shocked

The Sky is playing smart and Swin is in rythm. Kinda early but this could be a blowout!!!

Just stay focused!!! Clap

This is where I don't understand Pokey...why put Willingham in when you can put Swords in and move Syl to PF??? Confused

Please, no more Swords!  Her "soft hands" don't seem to be able to hold onto the ball anymore.  And, if you noticed this year, Syl barely shoots from outside of 5' anymore and when she does, her percentage is not very good, so PF seems to be a poor option.  All we need is Riley and Willingham to play some D, keep the opponents off the board and at least get covered when they go outside so the double team does not stay with Syl off the ball.
