WNBA mock draft updated their site, they have the Sky taking Diggins with the 2nd pick and Tulsa taking Delle Donne third: http://www.draftsite.com/wnba/mock-draft/2013/

It's going to be a very interesting college season.

I stated this once and I will state it again. If Pokey Chatman drafts Diggans next year then she should be FIRED on draft day!

I 2nd that Swish!!! Diggins makes no where near the impact that Griner and EDD makes any team.

Pokey would lose my confidence quickly if she were to blunder this. It's as clear as crystal:

If Phoenix takes EDD...The Sky takes Griner.

If Phoenix takes Griner...The Sky takes EDD.

It's a no brainer!!!

EDD is a little over rated in my opinion. Good player no doubt but I wouldn't compare her to Candice Parker because she plays in a mid major conference and is taking advantage of lesser competition. We seen Candace play against the best when she was in college. It would've have been great to see EDD play at Connecticut with tougher competition. Her commitment to basketball will be a big concern for any GM. This will be her first time playing away from home. She flaked before will it happen again?. Diggins led her team to back to back NCAA championship games. Plays in a tough conference and won Big East player of the year. She does it all (16ppg,3rpg,5apg) score, play defense, make plays for others...something we need. I don't think Pokey will look like a fool drafting some one who has played on the big stage twice.

If the Sky drafts SKYlar on draft day the team will still have the same offensive problems. Their one option on offensive will be to force feed Fowles the ball. We all know the results of that. Turnover Queens! The Sky need to spread the floor and the only way to do that is to have a forward that is a good shooter. This will pull the double, triple, hell the whole defensive team away from Fowles! The Sky must find a GREAT FORWARD to start for the team before even thinking about drafting SKYlar or any other point guard.

I for one think the down low plan did not work because of injury. EDD could sub for our centers with her height. She's my favorite pick.

EDD over rated??? Shocked Shocked Shocked

When Auriemma and Summit recruits you...the last thing you are is over rated!

EDD went up against the best on the Olympic squad. She played with the Ogumike sisters, Diggins, Peters, Novasel, Glory Johnson, and Lenetta Kizer in the University Games averaging double digits. She led that team in scoring average with 15.7...Ogwumike was 2nd to Della Donne with a 13.2 average.

Over rated doesn't do that.

She played  at a Mid-major, but every big time school they played couldn't stop her. These are the best ones and EDD's points scored:

11th ranked Penn St - W 40pts

5th ranked Maryland - L 32pts

Kansas - L 40pts (tournament)

EDD can play with anybody! She's proven it at the highest level except the WNBA.

Like I said before...don't be surprised if Phoenix takes EDD! It's definitely a possibility because she fits their style and shes that good! Thumbs%20Up

I just hope Phoenix takes Griner...I'm really concerned about that!!!

I cannot see the Sky passing up Griner or Delle Donne for Diggins. I do not understand why anyone would think that. Why would wnba.com think that?

Does not make sense to me. We have the #2 pick - so we should take either Griner or Delle Donne. No brainer.
