We get the #2 pick, which is fabulous! The only downside is that Phoenix got #1 so their tactic of laying down and getting better odds for the draft worked, and poor Washington get's fourth! Ugh! Washington really needed one of the top three picks! Sheila Johnson looked like she was going to scream.....

We get the #2 pick! YAY!!!!!!!

The Maven Heart

PS Swin Cash did a great job representing the Sky, even though all she had to do was sit there and look pretty.

Welcome Delle Donne! the PF we desperately needed since Dupree left is finally in our hands. I think she will fit in well with the Sky, she is very family oriented...humble and reminds me of Lauren Jackson. Her and Syl is going to be one of the best front courts in the league. Next on list back up pg, and look at some forwards.

*Stay healthy and make some noise. GO SKY!!

I hope we use her great outside shot and don't limit her to inside play.
In the long run. It's better to have a bad outcome doing things right.Than a good one doing things wrong.

Too bad Phoenix got rewarded with #1, but being #2 is not being a loser in this case.

You don't lose here! Thumbs%20Up

If Phoenix would take EDD (and it's likely because they "run and gun"), then The Sky takes Griner and Syl becomes the PF. Syl can play that spot very well because she has a 15' jumper, so The Sky is still good.

This is a great spot to be in. Clap

Griner can fit Phoenix because they become solid in the middle they simply have to wait for Griner to get down the floor. It will be interesting to see what they do but I have a feeling they take Griner for her defense first, and offense 2nd.

If Phoenix takes EDD...naturally The Sky has to take Griner. We know Syl can get up and down the floor at PF so teams really will have a problem if The Sky has Griner in the middle because now how do you stop Big Syl at PF??? EP at SG, and Griner in the middle???

Griner needs to be adding weight right now wherever she goes because she needs to handle the physical play which will be dreater at this level.

The Sky cannot lose!!! Clap Thumbs%20Up LOL
