With the 2nd pick The Sky starting lineup has two highly possible possibilities...

1st possibility:

PG - Sloot
SG - EP
C - Big Syl
PF - Della Donne
SF - Swin Cash

2nd Possibility:

PG - Sloot
SG - EP
C - Griner
PF - Big Syl
SF - Swin Cash

Which one do you favor best, and why?

I like the Della Donne lineup best because it keeps Big Syl in her natural position and EDD will be in her natural position which she played in college. The Sky can now run the floor better and spread the floor to open the middle for Big Syl.  EP has more room to operate too. EDD has range and an inside/outside game which definitely makes a team "pick their poison! Big Syl or EDD Thumbs%20Up

Lisa Leslie left the WNBA because of Syl. I think that was a mistake. Just because you can't be the best doesn't mean quitting time. But C is better than Syl and should start instead. T W, you seem to forget her so fast.
In the long run. It's better to have a bad outcome doing things right.Than a good one doing things wrong.

Jimmy...what you're saying is nonsense!

Lisa Leslie left because after 12 seasons she listened to her body and decided it was time to move on. She was almost 37 years old. She had a baby in 2007 and she was ready to pursue her other life interest as well as tend to her family. Her leaving had nothing to do with Syl! How can that be when Syl was in the East Conference and Leslie was in the West? They only faced each other twice a year..so how can Syl be the reason??? Confused

To even think Swords is better than Syl is delusional. Swords is a good player but she's no Syl by any stretch.

Can Swords be better? Indeed! She's already better than she was as a rookie. She shed some pounds and got quicker while she played in Europe last year...and she'll be even better this year. She got better with her jump shot and her offense around the boards.

She can start for a team like The SASS, who needs a center. She will never start for The Sky unless Syl is injured.

Swords now has to work on her feet and becoming more agile on defense...but stop kidding yourself. In saying Swords is better than Syl you either want attention or you just have an incredible love for Swords, that makes you blind to the facts. Shocked

Just to switch it up:

PG: Diggins
SG: Piph
SF: Cash
PF: Johnson (Glory)
C: Big Syl

Sloot traded to Tulsa for Glory Johnson.

Just a thought (for fun)

Interesting indeed...but no way Tulsa trades Glory...just no way.

They'll have a front line of: Johnson, Cambage, and Pederson...that's too good to let go of...and they have Temeka Johnson running PG.

Now...something that would make me let go of Griner or Della Donne as my pick in the 2013 draft, would be;

Trade with Minny for Maya Moore and Dev Peters...otherwise...I want Della Donne or Griner...Thumbs%20Up

PG:  Sloot
SG:  Piph
C:    Sylvia, of course, no one can compare to her
PF:  DelleDonne
SF:  Cash or someone we trade for....I am thinking that Cash should come off the bench.

That's my line up. Tulsa will never let go of Glory Johnson. The Western Conference better watch out - Tulsa is on the move and will be a much better team next year.

Think of what Phoenix will have though: Griner, Taurasi, Taylor, Dupree and Prahalis......yikes. If they don't give Minny a run for their money in the western conference I will be surprised. I am glad Griner is going to the west.

And poor Washington....I am worried about Washington. I am not sure where they go from here....

Maybe even try to get Kayla Pedersen as well from them give them a future draft pick and Riley.

PG: Diggins, unknown pg
SG: Piph/Murphy
SF: Cash/Young/Petro
PF: Johnson/Pedersen
C: Syl/Swords

Let's all remember that EDD fits Phoenix better than Griner does.

The more I think of the offense Phoenix Coach Gianes like to play, I think he goes for EDD...but we'll see.

No way in hell Phoenix pass up on Griner. She's a lock for the #1 slot.
