I never did understand why the Sky coaching staff made no effort to resign Mistie. She is ballin her a(bleep) off for the Sun! Did Mistie say or do something to the Sky that pissed off the front office? I just want to know why Mistie is playing for the Sun and not the Sky?

It's the longer angle of the view that lengthens the shadows and ALWAYS makes the grass greener on the other side.    Our Sloot is plenty good.
In the long run. It's better to have a bad outcome doing things right.Than a good one doing things wrong.

Maybe because the Sun are better than the Sky?

Jimmy-
Sloot may be "pretty good", but if we had Mims at Power Forward where she plays, we also would have been "pretty good" or at least far better than we ended up.

Wish I knew also why she was not here.  I would hope Pokey at least made the effort to sign her since she is clearly better (and younger) than our 2 PF disasters this year.

Oh, I was thinking of the shorter guard with good stats we let go.

Didn't Mistie take a year off when she got married?

That's exactly what happened. Mims was on the roster but she announced she was leaving the WNBA to spend time with her family.

I thought she might have been expecting but she was just getting married and wanted to get away for that.

OMG, you cannot seriously be suggesting it is preferable to have Mistie Evans(Checker)-Williams-Bass-Mims to Sloot? 4.5 rebounds and 8 points a game does not an imposing presence make. shes a big body lucky to be in the right spot to get a rebound and she is slow.   By the way we have a PF, Swin. She was better in every category and all the intangibles too.

Mistie was a solid player a banger upfront something we've been lacking since she left.

Yeh, but she is a step slow and offensively was not a threat. We've had too many that fit that bill.
