Given what we have and what we need, edd is a better fit anyway. We need a 3. We need a 3 point shooter. We need a 3 who can shoot a 3. AND, in her interview she said she loves to shoot. At times even EP seems like she doesn't want to shoot.   I say edd, bring ur 28.5 points a game to the Sky!

You mean The Sky needs a "4"...they've needed a "4" every since Dupree left. The Sky has good 3 players in Swin Cash, Tyoung and Petrovic.

Having EDD will not give the Sky a pure "4" player but she's a swing player. She'll be able to play anywhere on the front line like Candace Parker except I think EDD has a better power game.

For me and fans less in the know, what are the numbered positions?
In the long run. It's better to have a bad outcome doing things right.Than a good one doing things wrong.

I believe Swin cash feels more comfortable at the 4, which is what she played most of the season.

And a 3 needs to be able to shoot a 3. That's not tamera young.

Petrovic is a work in progress.

I repeat, we need a 3.

None of the Sky's players that are labeled SMALL FORWARDS are good at shooting the three. That is why one of them needs to be dropped in the off season and someone that can shoot the three is picked up.

Not really. Petro is a pure shooter. She started out well but had to focus on her defense. Her defense got significantly better but then she got in a shooting slump and simply lost some confidence. Petro will be much better in 2013

I agree with you. My family really likes Petro. Her shot is beautiful and we hope she plays again next season. I think the 3 tho needs to be able to create her own shot AND shots for her team ala moore and McCrybaby. EDD has that potential, but I am not sure that Sonja does.

The only problem I had with Petro is she tended to pout when her shot wasn't falling.

She has to get "thicker skin" because in the WNBA players pick up on that. Petro needs more "mental toughness".
