There are six PHOENIX games on ESPN2 this year. Why Chicago can get some of that kind of love? The upside to the Phoenix TV schedule is that both of the Chicago vs. Phoenix games are on ESPN2.

The August 2013 schedule is a Demon Beast of a schedule. The Sky have 12 games that month. They also have a lot of games where they have just one day of rest between games. They also have two sets of back to back games that month.

The Sky will never get that kind of love until they make the playoffs, or are a compelling team to watch, a marquee team.  For way too much of their existence, they haven't been either.  They don't get that kind of love because they haven't earned it.

If there is any doubt that Phoenix is taking Griner- the ESPN schedule should eliminate that for you.  Griner = new fans in the stand and new fans watching the national broadcast.

And congratulations to Sky management for making the schedule more fan friendly- at least in my eyes.  2 afternoon "camp" games that always draw well, 1 Tuesday night game, 1 Wednesday night game (vs Phoenix) and the rest on Friday, Saturday and Sunday- always the best for drawing fans.

Yes there is. Fans don't run the team! It's highly likely they will take Griner.

I would say 65% Griner 35% EDD (i think it was about even before EDD announced the Lymes disease thing.

I would be happy to hear Griner as the pick though!  Thumbs%20Up
