Hard for Washington not to improve with Thibault at the helm.  Tulsa has a LOT of work to do though, they were the hot pick coming into this season but I haven't been impressed with anything they've been doing outside of Hodges being unconscious from 3.  If Cambage can't stay on the floor (whether it be her physical condition or silly fouls), they're not going anywhere.

I was pleasantly surprised with that game though.  Who would've thought the first game of the day would be the more exciting one?  From a neutral fan's perspective, I mean. Smile

One more thing: what's up with this scheduling?  We have to wait until Friday for more games?

Griner looked pretty good...however as I thought it would be for her, she has a lot to work on before she reaches her potential.

She's learning quickly though....as she stated after the game she has to learn not to jump trying to block.

She has to get stronger too...she couldn't move Syl or Swords when she tried to back in.

If she perfects that "sky hook" Kareem taught her...she's really going to be good.

The next thing I want to see, is Griner v Cambage...that will be interesting!

Great game going with The Sparks and The SASS on Live Access if you have it.

Can't knock SASS for their effort so far, despite being so shorthanded.  They gave the Fever a good half of basketball before running out of gas and are taking it to the Sparks right now.  I'm really looking forward to seeing Shenise Johnson blossom this season with the minutes she'll be getting, as well; such a talented player.

LA looks pretty out of sorts though.
