Yes Angel was more pouty than usual and seems frustrated with her team. Not sure how serious that injury was though. We watched the game and I was sort of hoping Atlanta would win so Washington would drop down to #4.....and Indiana move into #3 after they win against NY....but that is not going to happen. Looks like we will play Indy in round one of the playoffs. So the 9/6 game is an important one to win to get a solid footing to play them in the playoffs....figure out how to beat Lin Dunn!

Atlanta took down The Sparks last night 92-82. The Sparks have to get better defensively or they will be out of the playoffs early.

They play Minny Wed.

Atlanta and Indy go at it tomorrow...I won't miss that one...

EDIT:
On the other side...out West...ther's a barnburner between LA and Minny.

Some GREAT games to watch while The Sky is idle.

Keep an eye on Atlanta...their pattern has always been to crank it up at the end of the year.

All it says for January was Not With Team - Illness.

Atlanta clinched a playoff spot with the win.

And meanwhile we can just kick up our feet and say, "#1 seed..." Wink

Not literally, of course.  The Sky need to be ready when the playoffs do roll around.  It's just nice as a fanbase to be able to enjoy these other games without having to worry about how it will impact our seeding.

Checking out Tulsa v Sparks on NBA TV. Tulsa is without Cambage who sprained her ankle. She's done for the year.

Tina Charles just decided to take the rest of the season off because "I have had some nagging things and now we're out the playoff hunt. So it's best I just take care of my body."

Wow.

WOW!

What player doesn't have "some nagging things" at this point of the season?
Does her contract state she only has to play as long as they're in the playoff race? I hate when players take this type of attitude.  I hope her name is no longer mentioned in the MVP race. MVP doesn't quit on her team. No player should quit because they're out of the playoff race.
