The season has started! The top 5 are:

1. UCONN 4-0

2. Duke 3-0

3. Tenn 4-0

4. Louisville 4-0

5. Notre Dame 3-0

All rankings here:
http://espn.go.com/womens-college-basketball/rankings

As things move on...the women's games will make prime time broadcasts. Right now they are few and far between.

I'm particularly watching the LadyVols but as many teams as I can to see who's coming out.

In the meantime...here are a few 2014 mock drafts:

Those should give and idea anyway...but we know the season is long and things change.

Happy scouting!!!

My mock draft is better than that bleacher report, TWoodie. They have the Sky drafting Shoni Shimmel. I will strap a five hundred pound weight around my legs and jump into Lake Michigan if the Sky draft Shoni with their first round pick. I dislike her more than that point guard from Ohio State that the Mercury cut this past season.

I know mock drafts are just for fun and shouldn't be taken seriously, but WTF Bleacher Report?  Dolson at #2 and Sims at #5?  OK then...

Personally...I think it's to early for mock drafts because the maturity of college players can really turn things around.

I really don't start looking WNBA draft until the NCAAW is at least half way through the season.

There are exceptions though...like EDD and Griner who were WNBA ready as juniors.

Also Swish...I agree...I think SHoni Shimel is the biggest flop out there...I blew that pick of the minute I saw it.

I'm looking for The Sky to go with a 3-4 player first...then a 2-3 player.

Likr you said though...I would like to see Pokey pursue Breland before the draft.

I do agree with you TWoodie. The Sky should draft the best forward available in the first round and the best guard available in the second round.

She's better than Simmons.

Dogbone has Sims at #10

Really screwed up that one.

Alyssa Thomas being projected for Indiana scares me. I love her play and she would be a big big help to Indiana. She is a tough nosed player.
