LadyVols stumbled badly today getting upset by Kentucky 75-71.

They cannot lose again to an SEC opponent and have a shot to be SEC Champs.

They gotta get Massengale back.

TWoodie, you are a real LadyVols fan! I practice fidelity and I can love only one women's basketball team. You know who that team is.

Big games coming up for the Lady Vols!!! They must beat LSU tomorrow and they have to hope South Carolina loses before the play them on Mar 2nd. If that happens they'll be in a 3 way tie for the SEC title.

LadyVols get it done against LSU!!! Simmons with 31 pts and Burdick with 22. The shocker was Graves had 0 pts ...as a sophomore she seems to have taken a step back this year.

S. Carolina got by Georgia...so it looks like they'll take the SEC outright with the LadyVols left. SC at 14-1 and Lady Vols at 12-3. The SEC Tourney is gonna be great!

That was a terrible second half by the Lady Vols. LSU came out in the second half and overcame the 21 point deficit to tie the game. I'm glad the Lady Vols pulled it out.

I was surprised to hear them talking about Simmons nearing the 2000 point mark, and she'll most likely reach it in the SEC tournament. Only four other Lady Vols have reached 2000 points, Gordon, Holdsclaw, Catchings and Parker.

Graves is really struggling this season. I hope she finds her game before the NCAA tourney starts. Harrison seems to have hit a wall. She needs to stay out of foul trouble.

I'm looking forward to the SEC tournament. Dawn Staley has SC playing very good basketball.

Thanks for that info vickilz! I had to miss that game for Men's Bible Study.

Warlick needs to have them focused to take the tourney!

I'm pretty happy for Staley too! She's come into her own.

Dawn Staley is clearly an awesome coach! Good for her and Nikki McCray on getting the SEC. (And I'm a Lady Vols fan)

OK!!! The LadyVols literally dismantled South Carolina who will win the SEC outright. The LadyVols lock up the #2 seed for the SEC tourney with A&M the #3 seed.

Izzy led the way with 20 and Simmons with 16. Simmons is ready to go WNBA but she has to get stronger too! She could go late 1st early 2nd. I wonder how Pokey sees her?

Graves bounced back with a strong game at 7 points and 7 boards.

I like their chances of winning the SEC Tourney but they really need the freshman, Mercedes Russell to be more assertive in the post when shes in.

It also looks like Massengale will be available soon, she's been practicing.

Taking the SEC could very well earn them a #1 or 2 seed for the NCAA tourney.

If the Lady Vols win the SEC tournament they'll probably be a #2 seen in the NCAA.  Taking care of the ball, limiting their turnovers and keeping Izzy out of foul trouble will be key for the SEC.

Mercedes Russell has shown some good moves this season, but for the most part she looks like a freshman who was a top high school player who relied on her height.

If someone other than the Lady Vols was going to win the SEC season, I'm glad it was Dawn & Nikky. They've done an amazing job building the program at SC.
