Nice first quarter offensively...but the defense has to tighten up. They need to communicate better on switches so they don't leave players open.

Cappie with 0 points 1st half. Something has to be wrong with her.

I must be missing some new game plan. With Sloot on the bench for 14.34 min of the half. It must be official that she is now the backup pt. guard.
I WOULD AGREE WITH YOU BUT THEN WE'D BOTH BE WRONG

I was surprised at that also P51D. Could it be she is still hurting?

I don't understand why Boyette isn't getting the ball against Paris...it's a no brainer.

That is why I expected a big game from Boyette.

Sloot has appeared to be healthy the last several games but Pokey seems to want to play with 2 point guards and Faulkner as the starter. I suspected this when Sloot missed the 3 games with the ankle and it has caused her minutes ever since. How you can not start a finalist for team USA is beyond me, she has earned better. With Sue Bird retiring in the next year or so I would like to see Sloot in Seattle so we could see her play more than once per year. It's a 600 mile round trip but well worth it. Surely Pokey will start her Sunday in her home area against the Storm. We will make the trip even to see her play as a backup.
Last Fall Pokey's words about Sloot where,"I've been tough on her for years. She has done a a great job in running her team---and the thing is it's her team. I give credit where it's due, it's all Vandersloot".
She deserves to be a starter---somewhere.
