Been a busy couple of weeks for me at work so I hven't been able to chime in.

Just finished yard work and forgot The Sky was playing today.

I caught the last 2 mins and our ladies are about to go into overtime.

Looks like TYoung has had a great game from the box score but it's wierd that neither Boyette nor Breland have many minutes.

Its Sky up 84-81 and it looms large that Sloot needs to be on the floor. Our ladies are poor at inbounding the ball under pressure! 21.4 secs left.

Our ladies WIN...but wow do they need to THINK ON THE FLOOR.

That's something COACH HAS TO REALLY EMPHASIZE...but it's great to be 2-7 anyway!

Thoughts folks???

Sloot is having to play with the Bulgarian National team in a tournament in order to protect her dual citizenship.

An overtime win against a team that is now 0/9 would appear to enforce the need for drastic changes. 19 TOs, that included 12 clean steals, is a place to start. It's about time perhaps for Coach Stocks to accept that her job description does include coaching.

I don't agree P51...on this basis:

1. Stocks still hasn't come with a consistent roster. She's still trying to get consistency from the players.

2. The 2 best PGs the team has absent most games. Sloot has had prior commitments and Faulkner is out for the year. That leads to players that are not the main ball handlers, attempting to handle the ball. I would hope Stocks is really working with Epps to get her on board.

This team has got to be consistent...and I believe that's what Stocks is trying to get patiently.

T Woodie-If you are looking for a debate it won't be here. My example of the T0s is merely one symptom of several basic problems, some of which you have already pointed out.

No P51D...I'm not looking for a debate. Just offering another viewpoint as to why TOs are so high, which you correctly point out.

Other points would be:

*6 new players on the roster

*A new offensive system

It's a hard blow for Sky fans to take after the successes this team has had, especially with the loss of EDD.

I'm simply observing Coach Stocks right now. I like what I see...but it takes time for players to fully buy in, as well as for Stocks to get to where she has a firm grasp of what works best for them.

I think we at least owe her the patience we had with Pokey Chatman.

Does anyone have any updates about Alaina Coates progress and how long before she makes her debut?
